Thermoplastic Fixation Mask is an immobilized and positioning assistant device used to fix patient affected part during radiotherapy. It is an accessory of Linear Accelerator.

Thermoplastic fixation masks will be completely softened in about one minute, as being heated in hot water of 65 Celsius degree. The completely softened material becomes transparent. Complete softening facilitates the modeling and fixing of the material, and it makes the patients more comfortable in the process of modeling.

Possess memorial feature. They can be used and modeled repeatedly. As needs to be remodeled and refixed, the stretched and transformed material can be put into hot water of 65 Celsius degree to be softened again. In the process of softening, the heat activates and releases the frozen internal stress, so the material retracts and returns to its original shape. This reuse process is the most outstanding property of this material.

1. Use chemical methods to make anti-stick surface. The validity of anti-stick surface is two years.
2. Smooth and strengthened edges, without any broken porous or sharp point. Prevent patient from hurting the skin and can obtain a firm fixation.
3. In order to improve the patient comfort during treatment. We produce two kinds of material with different retracted rate. The retracted rate set for head material is smaller than the material use for chest and pelvis.
4. Working temperature: 65C. Mask will be completely softened in about one minute.
5. The completely softened material becomes transparent. It is will help therapist to judge during operation.
